- How much does a heavy equipment broker cost?
- Brokerage fees depend on the equipment, the work requested and the provider's agreement. Ask whether the fee is fixed or commission-based, when it becomes due and which costs are included. The broker confirms these terms before you agree to work.
- Can I request help with equipment outside the scanner?
- Yes. Describe the machine you need or want to sell, even if it is not listed in the scanner. Include make, model, condition, budget or asking price when known. Availability and the scope of assistance are reviewed for your case.
- What does a heavy equipment broker do?
- A broker assists with buying or selling equipment under an agreed scope. That may include sourcing, marketing, communicating with buyers or sellers and coordinating a transaction. Confirm the actual duties and who the broker represents before signing an agreement.
- Can I ask about consignment or selling several machines?
- Yes. Include the asset count, locations and your preferred sale arrangement in the request. Consignment, exclusivity and multi-machine assignments depend on the provider’s availability and terms; they are not agreed by sending this form.
- Does brokerage include an inspection or appraisal?
- Only if those services are expressly included in the provider’s agreement. Ask who performs them, what they cover and what they cost. A broker’s pricing opinion and a professional appraisal serve different purposes.
- Does SHE perform the service?
- Search Heavy Equipment receives and coordinates your inquiry. An independent provider performs the work under a separate agreement. No account or scanner subscription is required to request a service; provider fees and terms are agreed separately.
